特別養護老人ホームのイベントにて、ご利用者様の付き添い・模擬店手伝い・「餅つき」のつき手及びまるめ役などをお手伝いします。

留学生のみなさんもお待ちしています！餅つき体験もできますのでお楽しみに！

【その他】松山サッカー場付近10:00発、送迎有(利用の際は申込時に明記要)。昼食支給。

■Venue: Senior Care Center “Sun Heights” (Aburagi-machi 65-14, Nagasaki city)

*The nearest tram stop is “Ohashi” and it takes about 30 minutes on foot. However, personnel staff from the senior care center will pick you up / drop you off at Matsuyama Soccer Stadium by “Ohashi” stop if you’d like. (Note that advanced reservation is required.)

■Operations: Visit the senior care center festival to help running events. You can experience “mochi (rice cake) pounding, “ which is called “Mochi-tsuki” in Japanese and enjoy eating them together with elderly people. Mochi-tsuki is very exciting but needs hard and tough works. So boys! Here comes your time! (Of course, girls are totally welcome!)

■Qualification: Conversation level of Japanese is preferred.

■Gratuity: Lunch will be provided.

■Notes: Please come to wearing (or bringing) clothes you can get dirty, because you don’t want to get your favorite clothes by pounding and rounding mochi. Dressing rooms are equipped at the center.

長崎さるくボランティア団体「ながさき双六の会」（※）が主催する、まちあるき双六大会にGPも参加します！
毎年参加させていただいているこの大会は、長崎の町を大きな双六にたとえ、参加者自身が双六の駒となってサイコロをふりながら進み、長崎の歴史の舞台となったポイントを巡る楽しいまちあるきイベントです。
今年も留学生と日本人学生とでグループになり、長崎の町を散策します。
長崎の町を歩いて歴史や文化に触れ、異文化交流もでき、豪華なお土産抽選会も最後に待っています！そんな一石二鳥、いや三鳥？！の楽しいイベントに、ぜひみんなで参加しましょう♪

This event is annually held by NPO “Nagasaki Sugoroku-no-Kai”, who aims to develop and promote tourism in Nagasaki by organizing and running town-strolling events filled with various attractions like quiz and games, so that participants could encounter many charms of Nagasaki with fun while exploring.

There will be a lottery in which you might win fun gifts and souvenirs at the end!! 

By joining in this event as participants, GP member students has taken this opportunity every year to not only deepen friendships among Japanese and international students but also learn where they exactly call “home” as following GP’s mission; “Act locally by working together with global friends.”

■Venue: Around Minato Park (near China Town) and Nagasaki Seaside Park (near Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum).

  11月10日（土）諫早西ロータリークラブが主催する「諫早市民の集い」にて、ＧＰ学生がスピーチをする機会をもらいました。
　長崎に集う留学生や、諫早市民の方々が集まり、「異文化理解」というテーマをもとに交流する会で、「留学生」「日本人学生」それぞれの立場から、3名の学生が「異文化」についてスピーチをします。
　この機会に、たくさんの方と知り合い、交流を深められたらと期待しています。

In the fair, returnees will share their experiences by introducing issues such as study abroad programs, application process, exchange credit transfer process, costs, how days went on overseas, and so forth. After presentations by 4 returnees from Africa, England, India, USA, there’s a Q&A session and chatting time in which you can freely talk to them. This fair is not only for students already thinking about studying abroad, but also a good opportunity for all Japanese students to know and understand different cultures. Come join us! International students are also welcome!!

県南と県北のGP学生企画運営協議会が合同で行う２回目の会議です。

（※2019年度プレゼンテーション大会に向けた第１回合同会議）

今回は、遠隔装置を使い、県北と県南とで２カ所に分かれて会議を行います。

議題としては、来年度に実施する「プレゼンテーション大会」についての最初の打ち合せ会となっています。

GP学生企画運営委員のメンバーによる、2018年度「GP第32回学生企画運営協議会議」です。

■Date and time: 13:45-15:35, Thursday, November 22nd 

*Application due date is Oct. 19th!!

■Venue: Nomozaki Junior High School (Nomo-machi 1, Nagasaki city)

*School chartered cars will take you and bring you back to the Bunkyo Campus. Departure time is planned around 12:00. Arrangements will be available for students from Sakamoto Campus or Katafuchi Campus.

■Operations: International student volunteers are expected to assist junior high school students’ improving their English and acquiring comprehensive knowledge in Nomozaki studies. For example, there is supposed to be a role-playing in which kids act a role of guides providing information on Nomozaki area in English and volunteers act as foreign tourists. Besides, you are requested to give a simple presentation introducing their own hometowns/countries in English to junior high school students. How to deliver a presentation such as using Powerpoint or showing pictures or whatever is all up to you. You may take questions from kids like “What made you come to Nagasaki?” “What are you majoring in at your university here Nagasaki?” and so forth. 

This must be a great opportunity for you to interact with and contribute Japanese junior high school students as well as feel the essence of Nomozaki, the far south of Nagasaki!

■Qualification: International students whose native language is English or who have superior level of English language. You don't have to be fluent in Japanese at all!

長崎市立野母崎中学校の国語科と英語科の協働授業として、同中学校2年生と３年生が、野母崎地区の観光ガイドを日本語と英語で行うという授業が企画されています。その授業に付き添って中学生の地域力や英語力の向上を手伝ってくれる留学生ボランティアを募集します。

ボランティアは、例えば、外国からの観光客の立場で、観光ガイド役の中学生による観光案内の説明を聞き、観光客としての視点で中学生に英語で質問をしてください。また、留学生の方にも、中学生に対して、自国について２～３分ほどで簡単に発表してもらうことを希望しています。「なぜ長崎に来たのか（長崎を選んだのか）」「長崎に来て何を勉強しているのか」などを聞かせてください。その後、英語や日本語で中学生と自由に交流する時間があります。英語がネイティブ言語の留学生、英語を得意とする留学生のみなさん、出番ですよ！

 ※長崎大学の校用車で参加者全員を送迎します。12:00頃に文教キャンパスを出発予定です（坂本キャンパス、片淵キャンパスでの乗り降り希望の方も、送迎します。詳細は、参加決定後に調整します。）

Here comes Chodai Fall Fest! GP is to hold its booth there on both 23rd and 24th, and getting ready to bring its enthusiasm and energy to the event!
