活動予定（協働）

8/12➡8/16と、天候の為、延期になったイベントが、9/11に開催することが決まりました！

灯籠船を川に流すお手伝いをしてくれる方を募集しています。灯籠舟を運び、ろうそくに明かりをともし、川へ流したり、といった活動で、去年も参加させていただきました！世界の子どもたちのメッセージに触れて平和について考えるいい機会！夏の思い出にぜひ参加しましょう！

イベント主催者より、事前に役割分担、コロナ感染状況、天候や川の水位によっての大事な連絡のやり取りがあるので、メールは必ずこまめにチェックしてください。

Due to the weather, the postponed event has been decided to be held on 9/11！

Kiwanis Club of Nagasaki invite you as volunteers to the event which will be held at the Peace Park.

Volunteer duties will set the lantern-ships that were drawn by children from all over the world and DIY volunteers beforehand, lit the candles, release the lanterns in the river, and photo/video shooting as well post-ceremony cleanup.

■Date and time: 17:20– 20:00, Sunday, September 11th.

■Place: Floating event venue: Shimonokawa River near the Nagasaki Peace Park

*Meeting place: the right side from the lobby at Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum

■Qualification: 

-To be able to communicate in Japanese 

■Gratuity: 2,000yen (transportation and meals fee included)

■Notes: 

-Upon participating in, you need to fill in “NU Health Management System (https://hms.hc.nagasaki-u.ac.jp/menulogin.php)” for a week prior to the date of activity.

In case of being not feel good, or have a fever, contact us, and do not participate in this event.

 -In terms of any medical expenses which may happen to you accidentally during the volunteering work, the insurance for you will be covered.

 -Prepare enough drinks for the summer heart. 

 -cloths and shoes which are easy to move.

-the time schedule will be up to sunset.

The organizer of this event will send you important messages befor the event regarding the division of roles, the status of coronavirus infections, the weather and the water level of the river, so please check your emails frequently.

千々石の里山の再生プロジェクトです。

ユネスコのジオパークに認定された島原半島内にある、棚田100選の内の一つでもある、自然に囲まれた歴史ある里山で活動してみませんか？

岳地区の古民家裏にある畑や田んぼの整備を行います。

材木の運搬、草刈りをする作業をしながら、大地の力強さ、恵み、先人達の暮らしを感じてみてください。また若い学生の皆さんに、高齢化による農作放棄地を活用するためには何が必要で、何ができるかを考えるきっかけになることと思います。

太陽を浴び、土や草木に触れ、汗を流す心地よさを皆で体感しましょう！

■交通費　3500円支給

Do you know 里山~satoyama~？

Most Japanese people used to live in a village beside mountains, they got up in the morning with sunrise, work hard and plowed the fields, ate food thanks to the earth, and slept with sunset. They always lived with feeling, and touching nature.  

千々石 Chijiwa is located in Unzen city. It is a part of Unzen volcanic area UNESCO global geo park.

We will maintain the fields and beautiful famous rice fields behind the old Japanese houses.

Feel the strength and blessings of the earth and the lives of our predecessors while carrying lumber and mowing the grass. I also hope that it will serve as an opportunity for University students to think about what is necessary and what can be done to make use of abandoned agricultural land due to the aging population.

Let's all feel the comfort of soaking in the sun, touching the soil and plants, and sweating!

【access】 9:10 長崎バスターミナル発「雲仙」行き（特急）➡10：13千々石小学校前下車

Take an express bus from in front of Nagsaki station-Nagasaki bus terminal

to Chijiwa elementary school-Chijiwa shougakkou mae

9:10-10:13

Beside this bus stop, you can buy lunch from seveneleven.

 At 10:48 we use share taxi from 千々石小学校前Chijiwa elementary school (shougakkou mae)to 上岳（Kami-dake）bus stop at 11:00.

*Wear long sleeves and pants with a hat from intense sunshine.

**Rain boots will help you lot, if you don’t have any, sneakers are fine. Your shoes get dirt, so wear proper shoes for agriculture.

***towels, enough water, and lunch (There is no convenience store around the place, so please prepare your lunch. You can buy some lunch from seveneleven at 千々石小学校前Chijiwa elementary school (shougakkou mae).

****You can use shower after the work, so bring clean change clothes.
