ホタルまつりスタッフとして地域の方々とまつりの準備、出店のサポート、運営のボランテイアスタッフを募集しています。

毎年1000人近くの参加者がいるおまつりです。

地域の方々との交流及びホタルの鑑賞、環境保全の必要性を学ぶことができま

す。

イベントを通して、老若男女、様々な方々と交流してみませんか？

日本語が話せない場合は、元気と笑顔が参加条件です！

Have you ever seen ‘Hotaru’? -ほたるー蛍ーfirefly-lighting bug?

They survive very shortly, and appear just before it gets dark jand before the Japanese rainy season begins

They live near clear water with beautiful nature.　

This volunteer work is to help during the event, due to aged village needs for young students’ strength

You can interact with variety of people including locals.

I have been to a  ‘Hotaru’ tour once before, and it was fantastic, so if you have never seen it before, why don’t you join this volunteering event?

■Date and time: Saturday, May 27th 9:00 AM -9:15 PM, (9:00-21:15)

Preparation time: 9:00AM-4:00PM,　(9:00ー16:00)

The event :4:00PM-9:15PM (16:00-21:15)

■Qualifications: Smile and Strength ;)

■Gratuity: Meal will be provided.

-In terms of any medical expenses (accidents or Illness) during the volunteer work, the insurance for you will be covered.

伊王島の朝市を盛り上げるボランティアを募集！

 【アクセス】行き・フェリー「長崎港」発　7：20　➡「伊王島」着　7：42　

                   港から会場まで徒歩10分（￥680自費）

At Iojima island, lies one of the secret beaches in Nagasaki, the local fisherman's union opens the “Fisherman’s Market” every month, and May is the biggest market of the year.

They are looking for volunteers who will support setting up tents for this market, selling some local products, and running activities for kids.

Let’s make this market more active and fun!

■Date and time: 8:00-13:00, Sunday, May 28th

■Venue: Fishermen Port (nearby “Magome Church), Iojima island2-2047-2, Nagasaki city.

■Qualifications: ability to communicate in basic Japanese

■Gratuity:

- A meal is provided (fried fish (kamasu), and biwa jelly)

- a ticket for a hot spring.

- free-returning bus ticket back to Nagasaki city, for after the event.　Please book it on your own.

■Access　

– you need to use the ferry departing at 7:20 AM from Nagasaki ferry terminal arriving at Iojima at 7:42 AM.

(Please buy the one-way ticket by yourself. It costs ￥680.)

■Notes:

- In terms of any medical expenses which may accidentally occur during the volunteering work, these will be covered by our insurance provisions.

- We recommend you wear clothes which are easy to move around in and you don't mind getting dirty, and please ensure you bring enough drinking water
