イケイケの池企画ボランティア／Clean-up Uni's Pond Volunteer

内容

暑い夏！長大文教キャンパスの池をきれいに掃除して“イケイケ”の池にしませんか？池をきれいにすることでボウフラの繁殖を抑制し、池の生物がすみやすい環境を保つことができます。また、藤棚周辺のくつろぎスペースも更に快適になるはず。

活動初日の27日は、池に住む外来生物やその他の水中生物や植物についてのおもしろい話を聞くこともできます！活動後は、池すぐそばのシャワールームで汗を流してお帰りいただけます（使用料無料）。

Let’s clean up and revive the Chodai University pond together!

Do you know there are many ponds in our university campus? They’re serene, calming and inviting. But there are floating aquatic weeds harmful to the health of ponds. Leave that situation alone means ecosystem degradation and it’s feared to turn out to be the loss of relaxation for us. 

We need your help to revive the Chodai University pond!

 

■Date and time: From Mon., 31st, Aug to Fri., 4th, Sep

*9:00-12:00 on the respective day.

■Meeting place: In front of the university library in Bunkyo Campus

■Qualification: N/A 

■Gratuity: N/A

■Notes: 

-Bring extra clothes, towels and drinks. Short pants, waterproof shoes, rain boots, or rubber boots are highly recommended.

-Volunteers can use a shower room inside the campus for free after the work.

-In terms of any medical expenses which may happen to you accidentally during the volunteering work, the insurance for you will be covered.

-Well note that this activity might be canceled when the status of the Covid-19 situation may suddenly change.
