平和の灯ろう船に世界の子どもたちのイラストを貼ろう！ボランティア／DIY Volunteering -Making Lantern Paper Ships

8月に行われる灯ろう流しイベントにて使用する、灯ろう船の作成ボランティアを募集します！

長崎大学のやってみゅーでスク内で、コロナ感染症拡大防止措置を取りながら、仲間や友人と一緒に、またはご自宅でもできるボランティアです。

灯ろう船作りは、型紙があるのでとっても簡単！世界の子どもたちから送られてきたイラストをお渡ししますので、それを貼ったり、自身のメッセージを書いて完成です！長崎の夏の風物詩である灯ろう流しに、自分が作った灯ろう船で灯りを添えませんか？ 

 

【日時】7月21日(水)～8月6日（金）

※長崎大学のやってみゅーでスク内で作業される場合は、平日の各日9:00～17:00内でご自身の都合のいい時間

【場所】長崎大学文教キャンパスキャリアセンター内または自宅

The annual holiday of Obon runs until the night of Shoro Nagashi. During this time, the spirits of the dead come back to see their living friends and family; Shoro Nagashi wishes them well and sends them back to heaven. This religious festival is one of Nagasaki’s famous and bonding-tie events.

We’re now calling for volunteers to join in making floating paper lanterns at Shoro Nagashi.

This volunteering work can be done onsite or at your home and either way you like, how to make the floating paper vessels is surely to be shared. You can put your messages on the lantern and many pictures and drawing from children all around the world can be passed to you to decorate your lanterns! 

 

■Date and time: Either day which suits you among July 21st – August 6th.

If you want to do the work onsite (at the designated place in Nagasaki Uni), working hour(s) is between 9:00 and 17:00. 

■Place: Nagasaki Uni or your house

■Qualification: To be able to understand the Japanese instruction orally on how to make lanterns.

■How to apply: Please send an email to gp_daigakukan@ml.nagasaki-u.ac.jp by Friday, Aug. 6th, and make sure all your information below are listed.
